Nova Levante (1,182m) lies in the heart of the Dolomites between Mount Rosengarten and Latemar and forms the western entrance to the UNESCO World Natural Heritage site. The alpine pasture area surrounding Lake Carezza (1,560m) and the Carezza Pass (1,752m) also belongs to our large mountain village. Lake Carezza is situated at the beginning of Latemar forest (1,000 ha).
This tiny mountain lake is especially famous for its emerald water and the beautiful mountain scenery of Mount Latemar and Rosengarten.
Next to the Aeolian Islands, the Dolomites are the second UNESCO World Natural Heritage site in Italy.
